As you may know, there has been an update that replaces the tutorial button. The tutorial button has been replaced with a skin pack changer. And I tried to get Painterly to work with it but Painterly hasn't been updated to work with it so now I have to run around being miserable and not in a world full of beauty and glorious squids.

A CREEPER CREEPED UP BEHIND ME AND SUICIDED! EXCITING ADVENTURES!

Awesomely great!

I finally got some string! Now I can make a fishing pole and go fishing! It's basically the only thing I can do at night other than smelting things and murdering the local wildlife. I'm just going to make a fishing pole now, probably make a few more chests, and quite possibly catch some fish.

The dark is scary.

I got out of the cave just in time for the sun to go down.
I'm home now and I have my first cactus. I also have 33 coal, and 11 iron.

Do zombies make footstep noises?

I can hear footsteps in the cave, and it's coming from the rightwards direction. A "grlehhhh" sound also came from that direction. The water is to the right. I hope the footsteps are just me turning around to see if there's a zombie behind me.

I'm scared now.

I hear water... and I just heard a zombie. Oh boy. Scary times ahead.

Even more iron!

Eksi told me to go left, and I went left. I didn't post about the fork because I didn't want to. But thanks to Eksi, I found more iron. Huzzah.

This is the first vein of iron that I've found on this map and there will be MUCH MORE. I will adventure downwards and see what happens... Probably scary stuff. I haven't found any mobs in here though. Kind of strange... a skeleton's probably going to shoot at me when I'm not looking, though.

It's the ocean! I unknowingly put a torch on some of the sand there and it fell, letting in water and thankfully not drowning me. Huzzah!

Yes. This cave.
It has mysteries that I will uncover. This cave is the first cave I went looking in for coal, but, I had no torches. So... well... I couldn't go in because I heard zombies inside. And now I will go on an adventure into the deep.

Oh wait now I know.

I guess I'll have to be more careful and hope they don't fall on me.

Nothing amazing. It was dark so he spawned there.

This pig walked in front of me when I was trying to kill the spiders. Whoopdeedoo. I've also changed swords.

I was walking towards the spiders and when I placed a torch to light the way, one of the spiders jumped on top of me and the other followed. The light you see in the upper right corner of the door window thing is from the torch that I placed. I'm going to have to kill these spiders now so I can make a bow.

... Not a mystery now. Just a dead end. Could make a good house, though.

Look what I found.

A snow biome! And another strange lighting glitch! The no-hud thing got stuck and I had to press it again to fix it. It's F1, by the way. Thanks to Toasty/Manoman for telling me about this button.

Something weird happened to the lighting. I don't know WHAT happened so I'm going to list it as an anomaly. Very strange.

An overlook and more mushrooms!

Today is my lucky day. I found these mushrooms under a tree. Lots of mushrooms on this map. Lots of them. They're all brown, though.

Double oops. I seem to have set my render distance to short (and I set it to normal after I noticed something wasn't right) and I pushed the publish post button instead of the picture thing. :/

I found a cave.

This is the first "real" cave that I've found on this map. On the right there's a wall with coal and to the left is the next picture.

I will explore this and probably find some zombies, or a dungeon. I haven't found any dungeons for quite some time and would like to see one. That would be nice. This is kind of scary because it's so dark and, well... Monsters spawn in the dark.

This is the forest I was talking about in one of the earlier posts. Isn't it pretty? Too bad I'm probably going to cut it down.

So a creeper followed me to my house and I stupidly went outside and IT WAS RIGHT NEXT TO ME.
... I had to switch to peaceful and back. It lagged. I could've EXPLODED.

Twenty-two coal. From one vein! Amazing! ... Even though once I found a wall full of coal BEFORE ALL MY MAPS WERE DELETED IN STUPIDITY... I don't remember how much coal there was.
